2015′s Flamingo Hotel Tour Part 1 & NYC update

Dr Dog LoRes Admat

As you know we’re kicking off 2015 by relocating to NYC for 8 shows; 4 in Brooklyn at Music Hall of Williamsburg and 4 at Bowery Ballroom and we’re excited to have some friends and incredible bands playing with us. Today we’re announcing most (but not all) of the support bands for the Dr. Dog 4×4. We’re pleased to welcome Mewithoutyou, Elvis Perkins in Dearland, Yellerkin, Roadkill Ghost Choir, Field Mouse and Twain to the bills! See below for their dates.

In other news but along the same lines, we’re thrilled to announce part 1 of The Flamingo Hotel Tour! You may have picked up on the fact that we try to get out of the Northeast in February and after 2 weeks in NYC we thought having the warmer climes of the southwest in our sights would be inspiring. Hanni El Khatib has agreed to come along and keep us company for most of those dates but the fine folks of Phox will show up along the way as well. Check out our tour page for all the details.

NYC shows are already on sale now, the rest of them go on sale Friday, October 24th!

8 Nights in NYC: The Dr. Dog 4×4

Today we unleash part 1.1 of a plan that’s been cookin’ up for some time now: to revisit some of our favorite places to play.

For this mission we’ve zeroed in on New York City and two of the greatest small clubs in the country: The Bowery Ballroom and The Music Hall of Williamsburg to bring you The Dr. Dog 4X4!

This coming January we’re posting up in NYC for 2 weeks to play 4 shows in Manhattan and 4 shows in Brooklyn. Festivities will be at an all time high, possibilities are endless and surprises will abound. Surprise guests? Sure! Astro turf dance floor? Maybe! Our guarantee to you is that these shows will be incredible and we hope you check em out.

Tickets for all 4×4 shows begin at $30. There are a limited number of these $30 tickets for each show and when they’re gone tickets move to $35. We will then sell ONE final ticket 60 seconds before we go onstage for $7,000,000. Tickets go on sale this Friday September 19th at Noon eastern time.

Before the public on sale we’re offering a Dr. Dog Fan Presale at the discounted ticket price of $25. Again, numbers will be limited, so act quickly to get your $25 ticket. Presale begins at Noon eastern on Wednesday Sept 17th over at www.drdogmusic.com/tour. You will need to enter the password: drdog4x4

Dr. Dog Presents: Lawn of Mann

People of the earth. In case you didn’t get the fax we sent, we’re thrilled to announce Lawn of Mann, a very special show in Philadelphia that will take place on September 13th at the Mann Center. We will be headlining with direct support from Mac DeMarco, and performances by The Front Bottoms, & Hop Along.

Tickets will go on sale Friday at 10 AM – but listen close – on Friday tickets will only be 20 dollars! In a continued effort to keep our ticket prices low we’ve been able to secure a limited number of under-$30 tickets. The second tier of tickets will be $25 and will go on sale immediately after the first tier sells out. When they’re gone they are gone for good and process move to $30 and then to $35, so don’t sleep on this!

Tickets will become available on Friday HERE.

The early bird gets the cheaper yet delicious worm.
